This has been a sad and tragic month

But nobody has told the many clouds

That threaten rain and stormy interludes

Yet are for the most part benign and quiet

 

It is said that one can learn a lot from clouds

And who am I to dispute these thoughts

My favourite clouds are the huge cumulus stacks

As they gently remind me of the late days of summer
