Something very odd happened to me earlier today 

I was on a bus and saw  clearly into the future 

It was not spectacular but quite ordinary 

I knew that a car had been involved in an accident 

At a garage that was about a mile distant 

When we passed this garage 

A car could be seen in poor repair 

As the impact of the accident 

Had pushed it on to some new display cars 

There was a great deal of debris 

And the police were in attendance

The garage itself was still open for business

As all seemed normal apart from the wreck

When I reached my coastal home 

I began to ring each of the local garages 

To offer my services at competitive rates

As I knew that I had a special ability 

To look into the near future 

This has proved very popular 

And I now have six garage on my books 

And three more are greatly interested
