What do think of Those Were the Days  

The Mary Hopkin song 

Yes 

I liked it lot 

Why 

Because it reminded me of my happy days 

Are you days not happy now 

Yes Stan but in a different way 

Things seemed more innocent then 

Less fraught with problems 

I agree Jane but I liked Mary’s song for another reason 

What was that 

I liked as it was the most balanced song that I had ever heard 

Everything was just right about it 

Do you thing that it would be written now  

I am not sure as the world has grown more cynical 

In certain ways I think of the Houseman poem
