Veronika Dol has an unusual job

She is employed by various churches

To repair and refurbish their ancient Bibles

At present she is polishing the leather cover

Of an incredibly ornate Polish Bible

Veronika Dol is an atheist having lost her entire family

In the Balpas Dahl air disaster in nineteen ninety three

She was one of only six survivors yet this changed her life

As she has no memory of the event because of her infancy

I have know her for many years and often correspond with her

My most recent letter was an account of an incident in Eastbourne

In short I was sitting outside of a cafe counting my trinkets on a table

When a man accused me of stealing fifteen pence that he had carelessly abandoned

I had not noticed his pathetic coins and was angered by his accusation

So I punched him hard in the face injuring his eye socket and was arrested

Yet when I appeared in court I was acquitted as the guy was a registered cunt
