Joe is Confused

I was in my beloved Canterbury recently reading a rather hysterical article about toxic masculinity and white privilege in a magazine left by a previous customer.

I was about to leave when two members of the church asked me if I knew whether I knew where Canterbury West Railway Station was (yes) and was it far(no).

Having been brought up in the Christian faith I had always enjoyed the company of members of the clergy so I offered to accompany them to their station.

During our short walk we chatted about the beauty of Canterbury Cathedral and about the Pilgrims Way.

I left these gentle men at the railway station feeling very happy and contented and because I had time to kill before my bus decided to revisit the coffee shop.

It was whilst I was enjoying my second coffee of the day

That I noticed that the magazine that I had been previously reading

Was now in a litter bin.

Perhaps that was the best place for it.
