To the shitty arse

Of a half dead cat

It meant little to me

As I have no interest

In feline backsides

But then I investigated its history

It seems that when Michael Kenna died in 1946

He left some some money (Thirty-Three Thousand Dollars)

So that a mausoleum might be erected

(Remains and eternity and all that)

But his heirs argued about his final wish

And purchased

(Wait for it)

An eighty-five dollar tombstone instead
