I had always considered these flats to be dreadfully utilitarian
But they command such magnificent views over the railway
When I came put of rehab I was offered a small flat on the sixth floor
And although I would not have chosen it under normal circumstances
I accepted this accommodation just for a place to crash and recover
My parents have invited me home but I will break this myself
And then I will catch a coastal train
Which will pass beneath these flats
These are my dreams of leaving
