I am a good man or at least I think I am

I care for the community and am a kind person

So when I saw a large shipping container

Parked badly at the side of the Gladstone Road

I contacted the police as the road was quite badly lit

And the container would present a hazard after dark

To my great surprise the police told me to contact

The owners of the container and request removal

Which was impossible as I worked some miles distant

I pointed this out but was ignored by the girls in blue

In the early hours of the following morning

I heard sirens and could see flashing blue lights

There had been a terrible accident as I had predicted

This upset me and I was determined to report

The behaviour of the cops to the authorities

But later I found out that the victim was a Lycra Fascist

Deep down I was really pleased at the outcome

I did nothing during the day but was acutely aware

Of subtle movements on both of my shoulders
