I paint my favourite cities

On to commissioned walls

I have been called

An interior decorator

But that belittles my art

As I am much more than that

I currently live in Venice

Which I am told

Is too beautiful to paint

I sometimes wish

That my eyes would return

And am having surgery

At the end of the year

There is no guarantee

That this procedure will work

If it does I propose

To travel the world

And see what I have missed
