Dear Martha Stayed of Kentucky

As a poet I am often accused of having many styles

Which is a fair enough comment as I do not really have a style

I am one of these rare people who cannot be easily pigeonholed

That is why I often refer to myself as a grasshopper

I am frequently asked to write

Grasshoppers Poetry

But sadly I can never imagine myself

Finishing a poem about these small creatures
