I have never heard of it

It is one of those huge doorstep novels

Overwritten and overblown

Even the pet dog gets two pages of his own

The second is The Wasteland by Eliot

It says so much to me

I have read it many times

And

The Bible

Need I say more

Why are these the only three books retained in banks

Nobody has ever answered that question

It seems odd to me
