I am writing as I think that the world has gone quite mad

As you know your grandfather was in India during the war and although quite chaotic he never had a bad word to say against the country

Father always said that Indian soldiers were fine warriors (he agreed with Kipling) no matter their religion

So what happened yesterday in the budget was absolutely incredible and a great insult to the soldiers not celebrated for their sacrifice

I would have expected this absurdity from the cretins in the Labour Party but how the government even considered this is incredible

Do we really need war memorials anymore

This idea was obviously politically motivated

I know that you will agree with me and that this will have made you very cross

What a total waste of tax payers money which in my view should be spent on the NHS

No sooner than I read about this then I saw that the Church of England was going ahead with its slavery scheme and to make thing worse if the press is to be believed the blacks are now looking at one billion pounds

As awful as slavery was this happened over two hundred years ago and if one reads the histories of the time then it is obvious that many African countries were just as guilty of putting their countrymen on the slave ships as the Europeans were

As you say one cannot change history but learn from history

I am utterly ashamed of the English Church and have penned a letter to the Archbishop of Canterbury today to voice my displeasure

Rather like the former this money could be put to a much better use.

If Daddy was still alive he would made his voice known and he was far from a traditionalist given lets say his thoughts about women in the church

But this is the work of crazy misguided and politically motivated liberals

I agree that liberal is the most dangerous word in the English language

Unless common sense is used by the church then this idiotic scheme will result in a ghastly feeding frenzy populated by rabid hyenas
