I was pretty miserable last weekend

Seeing this Josie found a book for me

Association Football from 1937

I found it a refreshing read

Away from the greed on today’s game

There was a lost innocence

Which is illustrated by the pathetic poem

All I have done is given it a title

God works in mysterious ways

And perhaps I am getting

My love for the game back
