Feeling much better today so travelling

I am reading an unwanted newspaper

And am thinking of the decay witnessed

Did a songbird not far out of school

Have to be confined to a hotel room

And then transported to a venue

Under armed guard fit for a president

As you know I have read both Orwell and Kafka

Have we come to this that a child

Has to be protected from the hyenas

Because of her place of birth

Are these fictions now becoming a reality
