When I was very young
Andrew and Rachel
Took me to a kibbutz
During my stay
I can remember walking
Quite long distances
Under the hot sun
But I was very strong
For a boy of my age
And I have nothing
But happy memories
Of my summer there
I later lost contact
With Andrew and Rachel
That was until a week ago
When l by chance
Bumped into Rachel
Outside South Ken Tube Station
She had not changed greatly
Although she and Andrew
Were by now divorced
We shared a coffee
And chatted about old times
Rachel now lives in Berlin
And works as a translator
We exchanged addresses
So that we might keep in contact
It was as we were crossing the road
That I asked about the location
Of our happy kibbutz
Rachel looked up at the sky
As if searching for an answer
I am not sure Tim Tim
It was not that important
At the time of our visit
All I knew was that
It was somewhere in Israel
