When in Canterbury
I took a photograph
Of the wheel of a bus
The kerb was also displayed
As well as the exit/entrance platform
A passing leg was caught
Black shoes sensible
Black tights forgettable
I was questioned about my eye
Many questioned me about my eye
What was my reasoning
For such as odd photograph
It was all about movement I replied
In time the bus would move
The unknown passenger
Would reach his or her destination
They would be constantly on the move
Everything except the kerb moves
Nothing is stationary
That was the whole reason
For this rather odd but brilliant photograph
It is being exhibited in July
With other photographs of mine

Pop along to Margate
It is five minutes from the Turner
And eight from the beach
