There is a town in Australia called Violet Town

Like many I had never heard of this town

Until the day of the terrible train crash

I wondered how it got its name

And discovered that it was located near Honeysuckle Creek

With many of its early streets named after flowers

Lily Street Rose Street Orchid Street and Tulip Street to name but a few

An exploration of 1836 noted that the area was covered by Wild Violets

My assistant’s name is Violet Ponds

She possesses a fragrant beauty

That words cannot describe
