Beach Nudity

Joe

Forgive the clickbate title

I have woken up this morning

And wondered why we do things

That we know will harm us

A girl I know named Ham

Is sitting on a lonely railway track

Waiting for a nuclear train

They occasionally pass

What will she achieve

Nothing

She will die and the train will pass

I have already called the cops

There are gatherings this weekend

Where crimes will occur

But we let them go ahead

Why

Because we are cowards

I have pointed this out

And was told

That if cancelled

It would spoil the happiness

Of many people

Happiness do they understand the word

To anybody who really thinks

The answers are so fucking clear

A thought

If one was in a city

And most people were half naked

Then it would be thought strange

Yet the same people gather

In hostile environments

Near the sea

(Which is a harsh mistress)

In states of undress

But nobody considers it strange

I do not oppose these behaviours

Far from it

As I am one of these naked people

It is like primates

We keep them in cages

And study them

How human they are

How like us they are

They are to be admired

But we draw a thick black line under them

Do not let them get too close

As we have seen what can happen

My friend has just been arrested

I am glad for her

Her brain has been poisoned by others

She is confused

Ham will remain my friend

But she does not know that

As she is angry with me

I have never stood on a railway line

They are best observed from a distance

Molly as you can see is more than a primate

Please give me your thoughts

Be more than the average Joe
