I am beautiful

Hello

My name is Marianne

And I am Paris born and bred

In a city of beautiful women

I feel that I am plain

And this regret is enhanced

Because I have only half an arm

The result of a moped accident

This said I am a graceful girl

But one who swims

In the seas of bitterness

Earlier this year whilst hiking

I stumbled upon some naturists

Camping in a clearing

They welcomed me with open arms

And I spent a nice afternoon with them

We exchanged addresses

And then I left to complete my walk

But something had changed

As I felt beautiful again

My disability was not me

It was only part of the whole
