The sun has risen
I watch it rise slowly
Honey Dew is still asleep
Coffee is quickly brewed
We have a view of the beach
Some people are already in the sea
We are positioned at the intersection
Of trails two three and five
And have been afforded a shady tree
I have decided to go for a paddle
Honey Dew is resting in her bed
It is already rather warm
Although the sea has retained
The coolness of the night hours
To my surprise I can see a railway
Between the sand shade dunes
I have been told that it is freight only line
And is quite lightly used in the summer
There is a freedom about walking naked
I feel completely relaxed
My wife is waiting for me
And has prepared a light breakfast
She is reading Nice-Matin
The news is over a day old
But what does it matter
As time passes so slowly in the south
